With so many projects happening, we finally got the opportunity to catch up with a few of our Cubism dancers from Standard Chartered Arts in the Park 2013! 最近的活動一浪接一浪，我們終於有機會與今年渣打藝趣嘉年華的立體派舞蹈員閒話家常一番了！

Tell us about Arts in the Park!

Zoe

Zoe: This was my first year joining Arts in the Park and I was very honoured and excited to be part of it. Arts in the Park is different in that the theme-related dance performances convey a message through different types of art influences.

Celia: The preparation of Arts in the Park involved a lot of hard work and intensive rehearsals, but it was a truly fun and rewarding experience. Arts in the Park is unique because of its great diversity of art events, such as dance performance, artwork exhibition, parade and much more.

Who is your favourite Cubist artist?
Celia: My favourite artist of this art movement is Pablo Picasso because he was a talented and versatile artist that co-founded this revolutionary style of modern art.

Zoe: I also love Picasso as his works are very abstract. His use of exotic colours allows the audience to have the opportunity to think and create their own perspectives and understandings of the art.

關於渣打藝趣嘉年華
Celia: 渣打藝趣嘉年華的演出排練雖然需要付出很多的努力及排練次數頻繁，但這是一次既有趣又有得著的演出經驗。渣打藝趣嘉年華的獨特之處在於它包含了很多不同類型的藝術活動，例如舞蹈表演、藝術作品展覽及巡遊環節等。

Zoe: 今年是我第一次參加渣打藝趣嘉年華，我感到很榮幸及興奮。嘉年華的演出有別於其他舞蹈表演，各支主題舞都是圍繞著各個藝術歷史時期而編排的。

你最喜歡的哪一位立體派藝術家？
Celia: 我最喜歡的立體派藝術家是巴勃羅．畢加索。他是個有才華且多才多藝的藝術家，而且還創作了立體派這革新的現代藝術風格。

Zoe: 我最喜歡的立體派藝術家也是畢加索，最愛他的抽象作品。他運用異常的色彩，令觀眾有多一點的想像空間，創建個人的藝術觀點。
